What exactly do my clients receive?
They receive the complete Business Owner's Tax Clarity Guide 2026/27 — a professionally designed, plain-English reference covering all nine major areas of UK business tax for the current tax year. It's delivered as a digital file that opens in any web browser. No app, no software, no account needed. They can bookmark it, save it to their desktop, and use it throughout the year.
How does the branding actually appear — does it look like your product or mine?
Both, deliberately. Your firm's name, logo, and contact details appear on the front cover, in the footer of every page, on a dedicated message page before the first chapter, and across the entire back cover. The guide's content and design remain as produced by TaxClarity — which is why clients trust it. The combination of your brand and credible, accurate content is what makes it valuable. You can see an example of how the branding looks in the preview section above.
Do I need to be technical to distribute this to clients?
Not at all. You receive a digital file which you can send as an email attachment, share via a link through your client portal, or host on your own website. Your clients click once to open it in their browser — the same as visiting any webpage. There is nothing to install and nothing to configure. If you're already sending clients PDF documents by email, this is simpler than that.
I don't have time to write a personalised message — is that a problem?
Not at all — it's one of the most common requests we get. We will draft a professional, warm message in your firm's voice for your approval at no extra charge. All we need is your signatory's name and title, and a sentence or two about what your firm does if it's not immediately obvious from your name. Most practices are happy with our draft with minor tweaks.
What do I need to provide to get started?
After payment you receive a short briefing form that takes around 10 minutes to complete. We ask for your firm logo (PNG or SVG with transparent background), contact details, your personalised message or permission to draft one, and optionally a partner headshot for the message page. That's everything. We handle the rest.
How is the client licence count calculated?
The licence count refers to the number of clients you intend to distribute the guide to. A Starter licence (50 clients) is right for a sole practitioner with around 40–50 active clients. Growth (150 clients) suits an established practice with a growing client base. If your numbers fall between tiers, choose the next tier up — it's worth having the headroom. If you're genuinely unsure,
email us and we'll advise.
Can I see a draft before committing to the final version?
Yes — this is standard practice. After we've applied your branding we send a draft for your review before final delivery. You can request minor adjustments and we'll turn those around quickly. The draft review option is available at no additional cost and adds approximately 1–2 working days to the overall turnaround.
What happens next year when rates change?
Each April we produce an updated edition reflecting the new tax year's rates and changes. We contact all licence holders in advance to offer renewal at the same price tier. Your branding assets are retained on file so renewal is quick — typically just a review of contact details and message content to make sure everything is still current. You never have to start from scratch.
Can I distribute this at a client event or seminar?
Yes — digital distribution is unrestricted within your licence tier. You can email it to clients, share it via your client portal, link to it from your website, or include it in a client welcome pack. The licence covers all digital distribution methods. If you're interested in a print version for events,
get in touch and we'll discuss options for future editions.
Is this suitable for use as a staff training resource?
Absolutely — and many practices use it for exactly this purpose. Junior team members, new starters, and bookkeeping staff find the plain-English format particularly useful as a quick reference alongside their formal training. Your licence covers internal use within your practice as well as client distribution.
